A recurring segment of the BUT Film Festival is the Bloody Belgium day, in which we strengthen the close ties with our neighbours in the south. Each year, we focus on one renowned Belgian filmmaker, as well as screening new, relevant Belgian genre productions.
The third BUT Film & Music Fair will take place on the 1st and 2nd of September during the BUT Film Festival 2018. Stock up on your Vinyl, DVD and movie collection this summer at BUT's outdoor Film & Music fair here in Breda! Browse through the stands for your posters, clothing, merchs or anything else B-movie related that can be found here. Delve deeper into the weirdness and spiciness that the underground world of film and music making can offer!
The event starts on saturday the 1st of September, 12:00 and ends on sunday the 2nd of September 18:00.

Over ruim 2 maanden begint alweer de 13e editie van het BUTFF en ondanks dat we er ongelofelijk druk mee bezig zijn, hebben we er ook hartstikke veel zin in!
En om alvast jullie zintuigen te prikkelen, hebben we in samenwerking met ADE Productions de Promo Movie 'BUT Delivery' gemaakt, oftewel, laat de BUT sfeer maar lekker stromen!
We are honoured to welcome Canadian filmmaker Bruce la Bruce, who is considered one of the primary filmmakers of the New Queer Cinema Movement that emerged in the late 1980s and early 90s in America. In contrast to directors such as Todd Haynes, Gus van Sant and Gregg Araki - all of them exponents of the New Queer Cinema - Bruce LaBruce never entered the mainstream and always kept his 'BUT-factor'.

Club Solo en Witte Rook organiseren op 7 maart aanstaande met ondersteuning van KOP en IDFX het debat ‘Toekomst van de kunst en cultuur in Breda’.
Het BUT Filmfestival van stichting IDFX zal in 2018, op verschillende plaatsen in Breda, voor de dertiende keer acte de présence geven.
IDFX warmt u vast op tijdens de Cultuurnacht en richt in de Stadsgalerij een BUT-waardig filmspookhuis in. Pas op voor uw bloeddruk, want u treedt binnen in een labyrint waar horror, short films, geluid, Asylum en nog veel meer gruwel u 13 angstaanvallen in 1 cultuurnacht zullen bezorgen!
Om even bij te komen van de spanning kunt u in de Winter Wunderbar genieten van een hete chocomel, een bloedwarme glühwein, of een fris biertje.
Wat is nou het meest gezellig om te doen op een gure winteravond? Nou, lekker tegen elkaar aankruipen en languit BUT Films kijken natuurlijk! En uiteraard met een mooie selectie aan bieren en versnaperingen!
